This Privacy Policy explains what information abhisheksikka.com collects from visitors, why, and how it is used. This site is a personal health-and-investing blog written by Abhishek Sikka for working professionals in India. It does not sell products, run an online store, or require you to create an account to read it.
What information we collect
If you leave a comment: we collect the name, email address, and website (optional) you enter in the comment form, along with the content of your comment. Your comment and public profile picture (if using Gravatar) may be visible to other visitors. We use Akismet, a spam-filtering service, to check comments for spam — Akismet may process your IP address and comment content for that purpose. See Akismet’s privacy policy for details.
If you contact us: reaching out by WhatsApp or email (info@abhisheksikka.com) shares whatever information you choose to send, handled directly through WhatsApp’s or your email provider’s own systems — we do not store this separately beyond normal email/chat history.
Site usage analytics: we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use this site — for example, which pages are read, where people click, and how far they scroll. Clarity does not show us your name or contact details; it uses anonymized or pseudonymized identifiers. See Microsoft’s privacy statement for details.
We do not run advertising, and we do not sell or rent visitor data to anyone.
Cookies
Like most websites, this site uses a small number of cookies for basic functioning — for example, to remember comment-form details you’ve filled in before, and cookies set by the analytics tool described above. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features (like remembering your comment details) may not work as well.
How long we keep your information
Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically, rather than holding every comment for manual moderation. You can ask us to delete a comment at any time (see Your Rights below).
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers mentioned above (Akismet for spam-checking, Microsoft Clarity for analytics, and our hosting provider, MilesWeb, which stores the site’s data on its servers) — each strictly to help run and protect this site. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
Your rights
If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) gives you the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. If you are visiting from the European Union or UK, similar rights are available to you under GDPR/UK GDPR. To exercise any of these rights — for example, to have a comment or its associated data removed — email us at info@abhisheksikka.com and we will act on it promptly.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for working adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the health and investing content here is written for an adult audience.

We may update this policy from time to time as the site changes — for example, if we add new tools or contact options. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
