Who I am?
My name is Abhishek Sikka. I live in Faridabad, India, and I am a husband, a father, a son, and someone who spent many years rebuilding his life from unhealthy habits, stress, and poor discipline into a financially stable, healthier, and more meaningful.
Over the last 18 years, I have worked in many different roles, from call center sales agent, tours and events manager, full-time trader, and active stock market investor. I’ve spent 6+ years actively investing and trading in the Indian markets.
Like many working professionals, I have experienced financial pressure, stress, uncertainty, unhealthy routines, and the feeling of being stuck in patterns that slowly damage both the body and the mind.
What changed?
The turning point came when I realized I wanted to become more present for my family, especially as a husband and later as a father. I did not want my child to grow up watching unhealthy habits become normal. I wanted energy, mental clarity, emotional stability, and a healthier future —not only for myself, but for the people I love. For Abhishek Sikka, this moment was the beginning of real change.
So I started changing slowly.
- Not through extreme motivation.
- Not through perfection.
- And definitely not overnight.
Step by step, I began improving my sleep, fitness, food choices, discipline, stress management, and relationship with alcohol. Strength training became part of my routine. Learning about health and nutrition became a serious interest. Over time, I became calmer, more focused, and more grateful for life.
What helped me change?
Change did not start in the gym. It started in my mind. I had to look at myself honestly and ask, “Jo main kar raha hoon, yeh 5, 10, 20 saal baad meri life ko kaisa banayega?”
Slowly, a few things made the real difference:
- Mindfulness and self‑reflection
Taking quiet time to notice my thoughts, emotions, and habits instead of running on auto‑pilot. Asking myself simple questions like “Why am I doing this?” and “Is this really helping me?”
- Exercise and movement
Regular strength training and basic movement. Nothing extreme, but enough to feel stronger, lighter, and more in control of my own body.
- Meditation and mental calm
Practicing small moments of mindfulness and breathing. This helped reduce anxiety, overthinking, and that constant “rush” feeling.
- A more disciplined daily routine
Better sleep times, more structure in the day, fewer late‑night decisions. Discipline gave me freedom — not the other way around.
- Family love
Remembering why I want to change: to be a better husband and father. My child’s smile is a very strong reminder to choose long‑term health over short‑term escape.
My Learning Journey
- Earned the title of World Tour Manager with Thomas Cook in 2016 → gave me exposure to demanding schedules, travel stress, and irregular lifestyle.
- Completed the Finance 101 training program with NSE in 2021 → helped me understand the fundamentals of investing and financial markets.
- Received a winner’s certificate from Zerodha in 2022 for successful F&O trading in the Indian stock market — experience that now helps me teach trading as a tool for hedging and risk management, not gambling.
- Actively investing in Indian markets for 6+ years → focusing now on simple, long‑term, safer approaches rather than short-term trading.
- Through my YouTube channel, Students of Market, I have taught 50+ lessons on F&O trading, technical analysis, and trading psychology — from basics to advanced strategies. My focus there has always been data‑driven back‑testing, risk management, and the mental side of trading, not gambling or tip‑based calls

Why this site exists?
This website exists because I know many people silently struggle with the same things:
- poor health,
- lack of discipline,
- stress,
- unhealthy habits,
- financial anxiety,
- and the feeling that life is slipping away too fast.
I am not here to act like a perfect guru.
I am here to share practical lessons from real experience — what helped me, what failed, what took years to understand, and what actually works for building a healthier, stronger, and more stable life over the long term.
What you will find here?
On this site, you will find content about:
- healthy habits for busy adults,
- sleep and recovery,
- sustainable fitness,
- nutrition and lifestyle improvement,
- stress management,
- discipline and consistency,
- and balanced, long-term investing for ordinary working people.
When it comes to money, my philosophy is simple:
no shortcuts, no hype, and no “get rich quick” promises.
I believe real wealth is built slowly through discipline, patience, emotional control, and smart long-term decisions — the same way a healthy life is built.
I also believe growth never truly stops.
I want this platform to become a place where people can learn from each other honestly — through struggles, failures, lessons, and small wins that slowly change life over time.
“I learned most things the hard way, and often wished someone had guided me sooner. Through this site, I simply want to share what I’ve learned and help you avoid at least some of the mistakes I made.”
